A World Enabled Initiative (AWE)
A World Enabled Initiative (AWE), is a cross disability affiliate program that combines the reach of the worldâ™s most active disabled personâ™s organizations (DPOs) and intergovernmental agencies. This global initiative provides visibility to smaller groups and pools resources together to effectively implement the articles of the UN Convention on the Rights of persons with disabilities. Affiliate programs will be compiled and categorized in a publication on âœBest Practices on Disability Rights.â AWE members will benefit from technical assistance and knowledge sharing workshops, e-seminars, and conferences, as well as the ability to do combined fundraising efforts.
